WHSmith 49p stationery sale

In my local store today tucked away on the first floor with DVD's was a full display of 49p sale items. Mostly stationery sets, pens, pencil case, erasers etc reduced from £3-£5 but there were some black shoulder bags from £9.99 to 49p.

Many of the multipack items like lipstick erasers are great for party bags.

Nothing in the Folkestone store, grr. Their sale is totally rubbish, its been there for ages and still costs far too mcuh. I've got £5 that I have been trying to spend too.

In the Canterbury store yesterday,

all the David and Goliath stationary was reduced to 49p, there was a small stand with some bits on down stairs and a poster saying all 49p, upstairs there was loads of stuff on a set of shelves but it all semmed to be half price so much more than 49p, I checked at the till and it was all reduced!!! I got as much as I could carry but there was loads and loads left.

I got pencil cases, pens sets, hard back note books, lined paper books, back packs etc. I also got a New York yankees bag for 49p and two other shoulder bags for 49p each, one has a cat on and one has a dog on. The David and Goliath things have things written on them like "Boys make ugly girls, "Stupid factory, where boys are made", "Boys are stupider, send them to Jupiter" and many other mean yet funny comments about boys, hee hee.
