Advice on light bulbs please

Hi Katie,
Yes there are energy saving GU10 bulbs. I found some on Amazon and am very happy with them. They take a few minutes to warm up to full brightness - you start off with romantic lighting!0 -
If you want bulbs that look like normal halogen lamps:

Otherwise CFLs which are much lower in energy but ugly:
