Save for Christmas with Woolworths

I wasn't sure where to post this and hope I've chosen the correct board (and it's not been posted before - I did search the site but couldn't find any similar posts).

Woolworths have a savings card available in store (Christmas Bonus Card) which you can save money on during the year and then use the money on the card to make purchases in any of the woolworths stores (not online as far as I can gather).

The T&C state that:

"On the 16 September of each year we will check the balance on your card, for balances of £49 to £96.99 we will add a £1 bonus; for balances of £97 to £143.99 we will add a £3 bonus, for balances of £144 to £239.99 we will add a £6 bonus to your card; or for balances of £240 and over we will add a £10 bonus to your card. this bonus will be available to spend on 1 October of that year".

Although the T&C state that "for balances of £240 and over we will add a £10 bonus to your card", further down it states that "any balance on your card in excess of £240 will not attract more than one bonus".

This offer is only worthwhile if you put the cash on the card on 15/16 September and can find something to spend £250 on in store from 1 October 2006.
