having read through the cheap LCD tv pages and other articles, just ordered for an older lady at work, a sony 32" from Marks and Spencer including a 5 year quality warranty and it came to £418.37. Going through quidco gets a 5% cashback making overall cost of £397.45
i know its not the cheapest but it is a decent brand, model with good reviews and 5 year peace of mind. other sites have this for around the £400 price not including 5 year warranty
the price shows as £499 but half way down on the right it shows deal of the day at £429 but then when you check out you get the vat discount too!!! its a bargain!!!

Read his post again, it says half way down the page ont he right hand side, it has an advert for deal of the day (£429), saying the discount will be applied at checkout.
Then take off the VAT discount, and Quidco, and it comes to just under £400.

what is the difference please0

This page explains the difference between "i" (Interlaced) and "p" (Progressive).....
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Progressive_scan
"p" TV's are generally considered as Full HD and worth paying the extra if you are going to plug in a high definition device such as an XBox 360 or Playstation 3.0
