Does anyone know any sites which
a) List jobs and job discriptions and wages
b) A site where say if the wages were it could work out what your take home would be after tax!!

I know i'm asking alot. In the libary they have a book that lists almost every job under the sun. It's brilliant, but you can't take it out and my children create if i sit down to read it! I am looking for a career change, when my youngest goes to school and just thought it would give me some ideas!

As for the wages one, I just can't figure out when a job says ie £18k. I can never figure out what the take home is. Thanks for bearing with me.

I would perhaps think in terms of what you would enjoy doing rather than what the salary is.

Or do you have something in mind?

Thanks. I have a range of ideas. Just need to see what the qualifications are and job specs. The wages are fairly important to me but not the be all. Pre kids i was a secretary. I really don't want to go back to that. I am looking at all kinds of jobs from prison guard to care assistant to whatever!!!. After 4 years at home, I just feel out of the links! Thanks
