Im curious to learn about my current Credit History etc.
Never had any problems with loans, payments or declined.
Have just cancelled two cards. And getting mortgage, mortgage offer accepted. Will this be on my Credit History yet?
I wanna do the experian credit check. Should I do it now or after ive started paying the mortgage.(can u get the free trial more than once?)
I also want to get the sainsburys 0% 10month Card. again am i better off applying before the mortgage&house is completed, wondered if my credit status is going to be better now or worse.wondered if i would get a better credit limit if i applied before the mortgage is up and running?
any advice
thanks

How long ago did you cancel the cards or get the mortgage ? It can take up to a month for your report to be updated. I would wait and then get the free report from Experian, remebering to go via Quidco for £5 cashback. I've used Experian twice for FREE 28 days trials though I waited approx 15 months between applications. The credit search for the mortgage will be lodged at the application stage so it shouldn't make much difference whether you have completed or not.0 -
Cancelled two cards last week.
Although month ago reduced the limit on all of my cards. since read a thread relating to showing up on ur credit report as always had a low limit. grrr.
So I should wait before checking Experian?I will be concluding the Mortgage in a months time. Coinciding with moving out I want the 0% Card, was just curious to know if id b better off applying before. but then again it eats away some 0% time.
Once the mortgage has started and im payin, how long will it be till the credit report improves, seeing that im paying on time etc, same for the new card. it will benefit from me borrowing right?0 -
oh and apply for the card on my parents address rather than the new card,
and then change my details over ??0
