Advice please - wrapping with tissue & cellophane bags

Hi

I wonder if anyone could patiently explain to me how to wrap gifts in tissue paper and a cellophane bag?! I know I must sound terribly dim but I have tried a couple of times and it has been a disaster. I want to wrap small items for my daughter's party bags.

Whenever I have tried, either the items have all fallen out or the tissue paper looks so scrunched up it looks like something I have rescued from the dustbin - not a pretty sight!

I don't know how to describe the look I am after but I have found this photo on e-bay. How do they make it look so elegant?!!

I would really appreciate your help - I'm sure it is easy but I am having a disaster.

Thanks for your help and patience.

Sort of wrapped it up loosely in tissue before trying to slip in to the bag - a disaster!

Now wondering if I somehow need to try to line the cello bag with tissue paper and then put t items in? If I do that do I need to have tissue paper on the bottom too?

    Thanks debsleypig.

try getting a piece of tissue paper same width as bag and twice the depth. Fold tissue in half and insert into bag. Place items in bag and gather at top and tie with ribbon.
Not sure if it's what you are after but you could always give it a go.HTH
  • Thanks mhagster - I'll give it a go. That is really helpful.
