Well.....I hate normal coffee but do like St*abucks mocha frappucino and an occasional espresso after a rich meal in a restaurant...I know, how wierd, I loathe instant/'normal' coffee but like ultra strong coffee once in a while?!?
DD and ex dumped at the park for a picnic, think he wasn't impressed, gave the impression he'd rather just sit at my house, let her watch TV and fall asleep as he usually does. Ha!! DD's also got nits (for the gazillionth time) so that job is going to fall to him too. Double HA HA HA HA HA HA!!

I never liked coffee until I went to Italy in my gap year, suddenly discovered expresso and I've never looked back. When I have instant I have to go for fairly good quality stuff. Its the only thing where I never try own brandsLooking for the perfect home and saving to make becoming a MFW easier

Love coffee, all coffee - instant, filter expresso...but my absolute favourite is a starbucks mocha with cream on top. However I detest coffee flavoured things urrghh
Am down your neck of the woods soon Hypno, a group of us have a long weekend at Pontins Pakefield then Pleasure Wood Hills on the monday before we come home. Posh we are not......well not since MSE :rotfl:0 -
I love coffee but it hates me
it increases my already high pain levels! Ah well - getting over the Porcine Influenza slowly but surely - so I should be back on track sometime this week (provided Dr Dragon doesn't come down with it!)
Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

I'm dead common, I love instant coffee but don't really like proper stuff, I'd much rather have a cup of NescafeMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

I like decent coffee - I have tried cheap brands and own brands in the interests of moneysaving, but I have decided that reasonable coffee is my "can't give up" item on my debt free journey. I don't go for mega expensive, but do go for a good brand and a reasonable strength.
Essex-girl, I'm not keen on coffee flavoured things either.
Shelley, the first thing is to get debt free, then to start overpaying my existing mortgage and saving at the same time. That way, we can start looking and if the right thing comes along, we will be as well placed as we can be. However, the reality is probably that in order to get the location/space that I want, it will be a couple of years of hard overpaying/saving after debt freedom. But of course it could take us that long to find something and sell ours anyway, so it is all "what ifs" anyway!
I don't want to rush into moving because the next house has to be our "forever" house.
Having said that, there are a few places that if there was something suddenly came on the market, even now, I would have to do my back of envelope calculations to see if it were possibly possible!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. No problem on the whole Dooyoo thing! I'm just trying to think of ways to make my life easier when it comes to getting to those payout! :rotfl:
Never mind! Well my folks won't pay all my costs, just enough so I can make do and be a tourist for a bit around London. There's so much to see with a pair of wide open eyes and you don't get to explore when you're working in the same place for 48 hours a week...
Those houses look lovely! Just for a bit of perspective, if I were to buy that nice 4 bed in the area I want it would set me back a cool £1,250,000 (moor park... Gorgeous area...), and for £450,000 around Canary Wharf, well... That'll buy you a 2 bed 'apartment' on the 28th floor of Pan Peninsula! :rotfl::beer: Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!
Now it's all about finding a deposit for a house!
How do you amass £70k in a year?! :eek:0 -
We do live in one of those areas that is still reasonable in terms of house prices.....but certainly it's not cheap any more. A couple of years at very hard saving and overpaying would make a lot of difference deposit-wise.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. I am coffee girl through and through and no longer drink instant. I tried to buy fairtrade but it was disgusting so I have gone back to Illy - I'm a cappuccino gal but it has to be a proper one not an instant one they try to fob you off with in some places- yuckity yuck. I am coffee snob:o I am going to try the cadburys fair trade choc to see what that tastes like to try and appease my conscience.
