In Netto stores from Monday. Might only be in larger stores, grabbit quick you know they're gonna go fast. I hope I can get one!!

Not sure this is SUCH a grabbit bargain.
eg Argos are doing a CD/MP3 car stereo at £49.99 per their website # 500 4221
and ebuyer have similar priced item(s) from memory.

Now getting my friend from Netto a couple of months back, a car stereo with CASSETTE for £19.99 (she's still living in the past there!) WAS a bargain - especially as just a cabling adapter can be £10-£15 at the motor stores!

The cd player you mention is made by Venture (http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=10001&catalogId=4501&langId=-1&searchTerms=500+4221&go.x=14&go.y=12),not a very well known brand name.
The one in Netto is Bush which I believe is a well known and trusted brand, I certainly have never had a problem with them.

It is advertised on their website for anyone who wants to have a look.

the odd time maplin have a special deal on their Shark branded car stereos.... my friend picked up the same spec one for £49.99 a couple of months ago, except it had 50 watts per channel [total 200 watts rms]....
