Hi,
Can anyone help my friend is looking for the best mortage rates for first time buyer with 10-20% deposit , with her dad ideally as guarantor but dad could go on mortage if needed.

I have recently had a mortgage accepted with a 15% deposit, borrowing £149k from Alliance and Leicester at a fixed rate of 5.99%. Not great, but other than the Abbey at 5.74% (who were a disaster) this is the best I could see for an 85% LTV.0
