Try emailing some of the exhibitors asking if they can give you complimentary tickets. You should find a list with details on the website http://www.granddesignslive.com/

Found that in some news papers or magazine you can get upto another £4 off the advance booking price. Just need the codes from them..

Can one knows the codes???

If anyone gets a free ticket from an exhibitor let us know;..

The cheapest ticket prices I can find are with the timesonline.co.uk - two seperate offers, but seemingly the same price of £8.50:

Check out the Grand designs magazine. The current issue gives away 1 free ticket to the friday show with every mag. Magazine costs £3 though.

i emailed a few of the companies who are going to the grand design event and said i was very interested in thier product and would like a closer look and if they had any comp tickets this would be a great help and saving for the day

got 2 vip tickets foc in the post this morning !!!

Just bought 2 mags for the wife and I - £6 total - would have bought the mag anyway, so entry was really £3 - excellent! Given the other to my Dad to read!
