Remortgage

Hi, new to this! Our mortgage fixed rate term is up for renewal in Oct, at present we are with the Nationwide and I have tried to change now but they won't do anything until the Oct. We are looking to remortgage for an extra £10,000 to give to our son as part deposit on his own property and we don't want to extend our mortgage time...at present we have £70,000 which ends Feb 2014 and we want to keep this, so we are looking for the best deals, any assistance would be appreciated...We both are working with good jobs and we have a loan which ends next year and a couple of credit cards...thanks

will Nationwide not look at lending you an extra £10k now? This should be on a rate that doesn't tie you in and then come October you can review the whole lot.
    Happily an ex mortgage broker!
