If the NRP income shows nil, it means that the NRP has no income - they DO show the income of the NRP. He may have stopped work to become a househusband, or may have been made redundant.0

Does that mean he'll get a letter telling him what the OH is earning and a breakdown of her housing costs and what not??0 -

Yes, its an aspect of the process that I find a bit distasteful - it gets worse on CSA2 - I know all my ex-husbands financial affairs (what he has deigned to submit) but he knows nothing of mine. At least if both have to submit there is parity.
As to your NRP - can you gather evidence of him working and report him to HMRC?
Evidence such as a friend calling him out for a taxi and taking a phone pic of him in the car, phoning for a taxi and asking for him in particular, stuff like that. All very distasteful I'm afraid

Great!! So he gets told all her finances  Thought we were doing the best thing sending them all this info. As for gathering evidence, we're not that fussed to be honest. If he doesn't want to support his own son and let someone else do it then that's his own luck out. Luckily I've started work again so we're comfortable with out finances. Quite ironic though considering he often sends letters to his son pleading with him to get back in touch, yet doesn't feel the need to actually help support him. :cool:0 -

To be fair - you've been told his albeit a big fat zero.
Seriously though, based on what you say it's a good job your son has a man in his life like you rather than his biological dad

Yeah I suppose you're right........I'd sooner not know his financial details though tbh.
Even if he is painting himself as a pauper.
Thanks Sou!!
