I guarentee you won't be dissapointed, the picture is FANTASTIC, bright and colourful with good contrast, plays doom3 a treat with negligble smudging, even has good contrast on the dark scenes :-)

i had a 192CRT before this,

running in 1280 x 1024 is MUCH clearer on this LCD AND, my pC no longer dominates the corner of the living room as it once did

Hi all,

I got an e-mail thru from staples yesterday with a samsung 17" tft for £179 (was £279) in black or silver in store which seems a goo dprice as I paid £299 a few months back for it.

There is also an Acer centrino 1.5Ghz, 40 GB HDD, WLAN 292LMId laptop for £599 which seems a good deal as it contains the dvdwriter and the version without the DVDwriter is £599 at Comet. I might be buying one of these tomorrow as an XMas pressie for myself.

Any comments would be much appreciated
