            All sounding fab today ladies.
Another pajama day for me, (i know, i know borring) although feeling a bit better now so gonna have a bath change my pajamas and have a root through my wardrobe for what i'm going to wear tommorrow. I've really missed getting properly dressed the last couple of days!!
Goanmad, i thought jumble sales where a thing of the past, i remember going to them as a kid, i loved them. Me and Mum would load up the shopping trolley with clothes and go home try them all on and wash them, it was fab and dead exciting. I think my passion for clothes began at the tender age of 3. You are a real inspiration.
glowgirl, if your having goanmad's bags then i'm having yours!!! lol
Bye for now Sharron xxxSometimes your the dog, and sometimes your the lampost..:p0 -
Jumble sales are the way to go, Sharon!
Three trendy young things asked about my bag today and looked at me blankly when I said it was a jumble sale find. Like you, I was dragged to them when I was little and got a real passion for clothes by the finds Mum and I unearthed....20's flapper dresses, 1940's utility tailored suits, 1950's circle dresses. Mostly Next, George and Primark these days but always worth a look....I found a Missoni jumper last year for a few pence (nearly had heart failure!).
They're not for the faint-hearted but definately worth a rummage if you're feeling brave...check out the classified section in your local paper on a thursday/friday.0 -

Ooh, sounds like a couple of good plans Whatatwit!
Do they have jumble sales in the evenings round here? Or would we need to go farther afield, maybe near your workplace or that place people retire to down the coast?2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

I think they are all tucked up in bed 7pm
I know up by my work, they have a few church fetes on a Saturday. I will have to keep my eyes peeled.
Come to think of it, I'm sure I've seen tabletop sales advertised, but they might be mid week.
Mum gets the evening paper, so I'll grab it off her for a nosey.
Have you been in the TH shop by Sainsbugs?
Or, the SR one by my work?Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0
