Waterproof cushions?

Hi there, im looking for some way to make or buy cheaply some large waterproof cushions that can be used in the garden, for a party. They had these when i was on holiday in turkey and I'd love some for at home. Im thinking size-wise probably 50cmx50cm and around 10 of them. Id like to make these if possible but i dont know where i can get cheap waterproof material.

Any ideas? :)

ooo, me too. Large waterproof bean bags would be ace! I'll have a look in my local fabric shop for material and let you know what they suggest. Maybe something like ripstop rain mac material?

They do some nice vinyl fabrics in Dunelm Mill and its not that expensive. Sometimes they have end of rolls too which are even cheaper.

There are products you can buy that will waterproof fabrics of your choice (example). I'm not sure how effective they are though; I've never used any.
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)
