This was posted earlier in the year. Applicants received an email from the publishers to say that they were too small a company to fulfil the number of requests for free copies that they received.
They offered people a cheaper rate subscription instead of the free copy. :-/ I think this included a free trial offer where you could get a refund after a certain number of copies if you didn't like the mag. :-/0
