My lbm diary

Options
I have been a regular on here for two years. My dh had heart attack two yrs ago and since then I have dealt with all our finances.
Not going too bad, currently making token payments but with debt of 49,000 going to be a long time.
I have had several lbms recently:
I spend too much time worrying and messaging on many forums instead of getting the house in order.

House being a mess especially kids bedroom makes me depressed, then I go shopping and buy things I and the kids dont need.

I have always had my own place since I was 19 and never really had spending money to buy treats so when I get money I have the urge to spend.

So, after having a threating letter about the council tax, arranged another appointment with the c.c.c.s. and need to sort myself out.

I really need to retrain my feelings about money.

I am starting this week by blitzing a room a day.Lounge nearly finished. Have two weeks until school hols so need to get organized.
Thanks for reading guys.

Sorry to hear about the heart attack your husband suffered and your debt issue.

Certainly seeing the CCCS is a great start in helping to combat the debt. When you go to see them it will be useful if you had already completed your statement of affairs (income and expenditure). If you use the following link and post up your SOA on this thread, you'll get a lot of useful feedback.

Would it be useful if you also started a spending diary i.e. writing in your diary everything you spend.

Keep posting anyway and well done for taking the first step.
