Hello, I hope someone can give me some advice. I am splitting up from my husband, and we have a mortgage on the house. I know we need to get a valuation before we sell, or he buys me out. I need to know how much mortgage I can get to buy a place on my own, and have got a vastly different quotes from various internet calculators. Ive tried looking at varous banks or building societies, but cant really find anything out from there. Can anyone advise on how to progress this?Thank you very much

Depends on credit history, deposit, outgoings etc.
Will vary lender to lender from 3x to 5x income0 -
Thank you for that. Im still not sure who to talk too - theres a huge difference between x3 and x5!! Thanks anyway.0

You need to think more about what you can comfortably afford, rather than 'what is the most I can borrow'. Have a play around with some mortgage calculators.
If in doubt speak to a broker who can guide you through the process.0
