Which Beauty Treatments Would You Have Monthly if you could afford them?

As the title says if you could afford it which beauty treatment would you have done each month? Facial? Manicure? Nail extensions? Massage?

My skin has been rather rubbish lately and I’ve been considering whether it would be worth me investing in a monthly facial to try and help it. Last year I found a lady who does beauty treatments from a treatment room in her house and I had a few facials with her during the run up to my wedding. She does a full facial for between £19 - £26 depending on what you have done and they are amazing for the price my skin really seemed to look much better when I was having them done regularly.

When I think about it I don’t smoke, rarely drink and don’t treat myself on a regular basis so I think maybe spending £20 a month isn’t too extravagant really. I might start from next month as it’s my birthday and so I have an extra reason to treat myself.

  • every 2 weeks, i get my under arms and lip waxed.
every 4 weeks, my legs get waxed.
every 12 weeks I get a facial and massage.

this is just routine maintenance for me :) my mum started me on a skin care routine when i started my periods and ive just improved. on that

if i could afford it i would have a facial and full body massage every month rather than once every 3 months.

    Monthly massage and pedicure.

I'm happy to shave legs, pits and bits, and my skin's normally clear enough that a facial's only an occasional luxury (pregnancy has done hellish things to my skin though, if it still looks this bad afterwards I may rethink). I carry a lot of stress in my shoulders and neck and a monthly massage would be wonderful. Good pedicures would be a fabulous indulgence too - not like the one I got last week where she pumiced the tops of my (swollen) feet and made them bleed. Some of my toes are still scabby :(

I'd have regular facials (maybe once every six or eight weeks rather than every month though), regular massages, and manicures and pedicures.

At the moment I get my eyebrows and upper lip waxed every three weeks and my hair cut every eight weeks (with a fringe trim every four weeks because otherwise it gets long and annoying).

    I'd have EVERYTHING. :rotfl:

Seriously though, I would have a facial as often as possible, a massage every week, manicure, pedicure, whatever's going. Not bikini waxing though!

I probably should have a regular facial, I can afford it, it's just that I can't justify it because I'm saving for a house deposit. :o Am I silly?

I get a monthly bikini wax and a monthly haircut, but both are uber cheap!

A savvy tip here: Look up your local health and beauty colleges or training centres, you can get beauty treatments very very cheap if done by trainees and they're supervised! :)

I had a chemical peel last month (thanks Glamour mag ;) ) and a free Saks haircut (Fabulous) this month!

Drink loads and loads of water, 2litres minimum a day will really help your skin, and you can buy 'decent' facial products that you can do it at home, I really like the clinical Avon stuff. But other cosmetic companies do good versions for at home facials too. :T
