I bought my girlfriend a bracelet for Valentines day.
Now, less than 2 months later its broken. It literally fell off her wrist while we were standing chatting. One of the links has twisted and snapped.
I didnt take out the additional insurance for loss or theft. And Ive lost the receipt!
Where do I stand?
My colleagues at work all say I should have no problem getting a replacement because I have all the packaging and I should be able to tell them the day I bought it etc to verify they sold one to me.
It cost £120 so Im not sure if I can see them just swapping it!
Do I have any rights without my recepit?

Unfortunately It was one of the freak ocassions where i had cash!

Wont they have it on their records at approx 12noon they sold one on the 12th of feb? It was slightly expensive so I doubt they sold many and I remember i got the last one they had.0 -
If you can be precise about time/date of the purchase I would def give it a try. If you get no joy from the actual shop write to their head office.0
