My ex was on a good wage but has now declared he cant get hardly any work and so I only get £5 wk now in maint from CSA (surprise, surprise)!!. He has cashed in a £25k endowment though which he is living on and is using this spare time to build his own house. The house is now on the market for £200k. He is also working cash in hand but i know i cant prove that. Can the fact that he is Living on a £25k endowment be taken into account or the proceeds of the sale of the new house built. His accounts only show £6k earning. I know he is pulling a fast one but dont know what to do!

I would suggest having a look at the rules on the csa site, there is a recession on in the UK and lots of people are feeling it (if they have managed to hold onto their jobs) .
Only savings above £65K are assessed, if he has spare time, then he cannot be working that much. I suppose you could ask the csa to re look at the nrp circumstances , I'm not sure with the current economic climate that things will fall in your favour at present but you have nothing to lose by trying. Good luck.0 -

In your post you are suggest that he is building his new house that then would imply he does not live in the house he is building that is worth 200k have you any more details about this.0 -
He was living in the ex matrimonial home, which I had moved out of, (this sold last week and he is now living in the new build and put it on market). He stopped doing him self employed building work and just took non traceable cash work. Then cashed in an endowment for 25k to live on, took out bank loans to build new house and spent alot of time there building it to make a nice profit. Really its a way of him working, to build a house and take profit, but be able to say he is not working and only pay me £5 but have a nice £40k profit when he sells it (its now up for sale)0
