Hi, my girlfriend received a text from Virgin yesterday which stated:-
From 28th April - 30 Sept 06, it's free to text other Virgin Mobiles in the UK. Send up to 1000 a month! Call 22524 free for more.
If you're on Virgin why not give it a try.
I'm a Virgin PAYG customer but haven't had the respective text yet. Has anyone else received this yet?

Yeah got yesterday too and I'm on PAYG..
Question. Is there any way of finding out if a phone number is on the virgin network ??I work for TUI Group of Companies. My companies ATOL/ABTA numbers are 2524 / D5299. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Travel Agent, so you need to take my word for it but Atol numbers can be checked on the Civil Aviation Authority website. This signature is here as I follow MSE's Travel Agent Code of Conduct.0 -

Hi, dont worry you dont HAVE to phone. It applies to all virgin customers and all the phonecall is about is when the promotion starts/finishes. You do not have to sign up or anything, it is automatic.0 -
My wife & I both received the "free texts to Virgin mobiles" text recently. As there is no mention of it on the Virgin website we assumed it was a scam and by dialling the number given we'd end up blowing our credit on a premium-rate !!!!!! line or whatever.
My default attitude to free stuff offers like this is "no such thing - prove it". Cynical, moi?0 -

The text comes from 789, which is Virgin Mobile customer Service number. Plus I rang the 22524 number its just an information line. No charge on my bill for this0
