Getting paid for doing TV work?

Can anyone help?
my son was an "extra" on the Dream Team - the agency has only just phoned up saying that they want to pay him - he did this in 2004!
Is this timescale about right for doing tv work - should it have taken this long?
They now want him to invoice them, also giving his bank details/copy of birth certificate or passport so they can pay him by BACS. I would have thought they could have just sent him a cheque?
If anyone has experience in this would be grateful to know.

Sounds about normal. Which agent was it?
I had to wait a year to be paid for an advert :rolleyes: with the CC, the only agent that I know of who pays fast is Guys and Dolls, the rest have to wait for the company to pay them before the cash comes out to us.:j Draco dormiens nunquam titillandus :j0 -

Well asked my son about it, he said he did get paid ages ago, so dont know whats happening there? no wondering if its a scam to get his bank details? maybe he should do it and get paid twice!!!??0 -
Did they send him an invoice when they paid him? If I was him I would just phone up and ask what’s going on, it sounds to me like they have their wires crossed some where.:j Draco dormiens nunquam titillandus :j0
