HI,

ive seen a car - its 10k - have got 2k saved but obviously need to finance the other 8k.

Now hre is the problem.....

Im self employed - credit record in the past has been awfull but just about out of it now - credit agencies show 3 CCJ's which are almost satisfied ( 30 odd quid left to pay) and other than that its goooooood.

working out roughly it would be paypback of 300 a month and im depoiting in the bank at least 3k a month with only 2k going on bills etc

Bank wont give me a loan and have thi unnatural fear of applying for a car loan with the company selling the car (through ge money)

Wha do you think chances are ? is it worth it or should i forget it ?

D

You will know your own mind, of course, but if you are just coming out of some financial trouble with CCJ etc, it might be better to see what you can pick up second hand for 2K in cash rather than put yourself into debt for 8K? In the current market you might be surprised what 2K will buy.

With 3 CCJ's against you, I would forget the idea. The only people likely to lend to you (if any) will charge an extortionate interest rate.

I don't think you will get anywhere with loans or finance unless you have a guarantor who would be willing to do it for you, only thing is, they will have to pay if you can't. We only have the odd default and can't get anywhere with finance.
