hi
I am looking to buy a treadmill. Can anyone tell me what features i should look for? or where to look apart from argos and tesco's and the usual high street stores unless there is a good deal of course
I am looking to spend between 6/7 hundred pounds maybe 8 at a push
Thanks in advance
Frank

Your best bet with any sports kit of this magnitude and price is to go somewhere where you could try out various models together and get some expert advice. I recently bought a cross trainer from here and found quite a difference between the various models when I tried them out. Basically it was a sort of fitness warehouse that had various models on display for people to try out and compare. The problem with Argos or Tesco is that they are often limited with their displays so hence, what you can actually try out is very limited. I found with a fitness superstore, the range was large and hence I could try out a lot more.
Try looking in your local yellow pages or try here to see if there is a similar setup near you.
Hope this helps.0 -

we've just bought the Gazelle elite from best direct (I know the sites tacky but...). Our first impressions are great and the machine seems very good. All my family have been going on it, in fact I'm having difficulty getting on it, even the kids seem impressed with it and my youngest spent an hour on it watching the dvd tutorial. My partner, who has bad hips, is well impressed with it. First night she did 20 mins with no problem and no aches/pains the following day. Price about £170.frankuk wrote:hi

FrankThe atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.0
