I've just booked train tickets online and the confirmation email had details of the above offer including the promotional code to claim. The discount code doesn't appear to be unique to me as it seems a pretty "generic" type code.

You don't seem to have to use the discount during the same stay as the ticket, just entering the code will give the discount.

To claim your discount, you must have recently purchased
train tickets online through the GNER website (https://www.gner.co.uk).

On your confirmation e-mail (of your GNER train tickets online booking)
a discount code is displayed. Remember this code.

Choose a Cottage from this website and enter this discount code
when booking your Cottage Holiday online to claim your discount.
Below is an example of where to enter the discount code when booking your Cottage Holiday online through this website.

Please note, the discount will not appear online, but will show on your Cottage Holiday booking confirmation where 10% will be deducted from the rental price.

Please enter the special discount code into this box in the 'Holiday Details' section of the booking form.

Booking without a discount
If you have not recently purchased train tickets online from GNER, you can still book a Cottage Holiday online without the GNER 10% discount. Use the search tools to find your perfect Cottage and complete your booking online.
