Hi
My hubby took a skid steer course to gain his skid steer licence at work, a couple of other staff also did this. They all passed.
A few days later my OH was suspended on gross misconduct, (this case has been pre judged from the start, according to ACAS and the solicitor) this has yet to be finalised (almost a month now), however he has not been given his licence, if he is too be sacked would he be entitled to receive this licence or could his employers keep it?
Thanks

This is just my thought but if he passed and obtained the licence regardless of wether the company paid for it or not it belongs to him as it is in his name. I fail to see what they would gain from holding onto the licence. If you are seeing a solicitor for his misconduct charge then at your next meeting why not ask him/her if he is entitled to it.?.0

There will be some kind of policy or clause in the contract to allow them to withhold or withdraw it pending a investigation.
To me it depends on the circumstances of the suspension.
Care to elaborate?
