Nothing isstraight forward! - Proof of deposit

My family are providing some of my deposit from their ISA account.Mortgage leander and estate agent need to see proof of deposit, so will my relative need to go into branch or will their bank statement do?

    I'd say a bank statement with a short note of intent to let you have the money will do.

    Don't mention the word "loan" in the note!

    An estate agent is required to assess a potential buyer's ability to go through with the purchase.

    An AIP and proof of deposit achieve this.
