Your help and advice please

Firstly I am sorry if this is the wrong place to post this as it isnt really directly moneysaving. Although we are going to have to really cut back.
To explain the situation im 25 married with a 18 month old daughter.
Since I was 18 I have worked for the same company (A well known supermarket chain) I have progressed from being a cashier to a store supervisor. Which basically left me totally in charge of the welfare of the staff and store.
Last night was the last straw for me as I almost got beet up again by a drunk customer. I have handed in my notice for my own saftey. I have been assulted badly once and know its only a matter of time again and it could be a lot worse that time.
All I have known since I was 18 is this company. I love being around people. I have Nvqs and am also a personal licence holder )alcohol)
I woke up this morning thinking omg what am I going to do with my life and the truth is I dont know. I have never worked outside retail and like I said only know this company.
I cannot say that id like to do this or id like to do that as I simply do not know. All I know is I love being around people and helping people. I dont mind the thought of extra training or maybe going back to college but my hustband doesnt earn enough to keep us so im going to have to make my mind up soon.
Has anyone else been in this situation? I worked late shifts which are 2-11.15.
For the 1st time in ages this morning I looked at my daughter and felt relief.
Sorry if im sounding way dramatic but its true.
Can anyone please offer me any advice. I do have 4 A-C GCSES and lots of qualifications relating to the retail industry
Thanks in advance

    You have my sympathy.

I'm not an expert in the retail trade, but I wonder if you should think about
getting a job in a different sort of shop, which doesn't have the anti-social behaviour problems that you get in late-night convenience stores. Big supermarket where you will be less isolated, high street store.

If you like helping people, consider a career move to a "caring profession" such as
working with old people or children, nursing etc.
