what exit fees?
Early redemption charges are not reclaimable and considered fair. Redemption charges are also considered acceptable and fair as well.
The only ruling on exit charges is if the lender charged you more than the figure that was in place at the time you bought the mortgage or the last deal you bought. You are entitled to a refund of the difference if that is the case.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
