    Hi there,
You may be lucky as in April of this year alot of areas stopped posting private bankruptcies in the local paper unless there are certain circumstances. Only businesses are being printed in most cases. We went br in may and it hasn't yet been printed but i suppose there is still time yet but fingers crossed;)

What was the change and the official line of going in the paper?

It is now left to each indivdual OR's office to decide whether to publish details in the local paper and as most BR are normal Joe Public ones they tend to save the money and don't bother.

    Hi startingover,
I am not sure to be honest. I do know that it is purely the decision of the OR as to whether it goes in the paper.
It was one of the experts on here who posted the info. I'm sure someone will be along soon to answer this for you.;)

My local rag seems to have stooped doing BR's as I could not find any from January of this year

    Hi, its regional I think.

Locally here in South Yorks/North Mids it tends to be the business related BR cases that are reported in Public Notices.

No one ever remembers anyway...I look occasionally but could`nt tell you what names I read in last evenings Star.
