A little new to this, first time buyer.
Looking at applying for a mortgage now I have the deposit in place, what's the best way to go about it for a first time buyer, apply online or actually go in to a bank or estate agents?

As a starting point I would do all three options - research online, go to the banks and speak to a broker. Become armed with as much information as possible.0

Get an idea of how much you can afford to borrow in terms of monthly outgoing. Rather than what you can potentially borrow. Running a property and home has a lot of costs that add up.0
