Just an idea id like to bounce off the members here.
A Friend of mine likes cooking and has offered to make me some Curry for me and my partner. I in return for this decided i will make a lasagne as its my signature dish.
Both of us will be making them our own way from fresh.
My Friend then said he makes Chlli for another friend who in turn makes him meatloaf.
I was just wondering, wouldnt it be nice if a group of say 6 to 10 friends all networked in a Meal swap, meaning home cooked food but not just the same old things you cook? Plus it keeps costs down and would mean less need to buy in ready meals as you could freeze a portion.
Thoughts??

Sounds good for variety, but if you were swapping meal for meal wouldn't costs be about the same? Dependent on what you were cooking of course, but I mean if you swap with 6 people and are making 6 dishes . . . . .0

I dont see the point myself.
If I'm cooking from scratch I like to cook food that my family like not for somebody else even if they are giving me a meal in return. Id be nervous how it turned out and worry to much. IMO its way better to get together with friends who make different things and learn and teach how to do your signature dish Jamie Oliver stylee if you want to try different things you dont know how to make. It would be even more fun to invite them round for a meal but get them to come early to see how its made then they can return the invite.

We do something similar, but go further and invite people to eat at our houseWe then get invited back :T This way we get to try new things, but also have an evening of great company :T
