Looks ok- depends a lot on the functionality of the offsetting-

A offset will only be best value if you use it.

    Hope this helps

I am a fee charging WoM Mortgage broker.
I now no longer give information and opinion within the Mortgage boards, because a number of posters who, having approached me professionally, agreed my fee-which has been been made very clear at the outset, taken my advice (normally cancelling a [home visit] meeting at short notice) have then approached one of the fee-free brokers on here to arrange the very same deal I have advised.
Whilst I totally concur with the ethos of "money saving"- abusing the goodwill of a professional who provides a quality service is taking it too far!

I have this mortgage and can highly recommend it, they are very efficient and the offset aspect works very well, transfers and payments are quick and they update your account immediately online. You don't need to pay the £5 a year if you have a leasehold property and even so you may find their building insurance competitive anyway. The no fees aspect is also very competitive.

I can't really find a better deal than this for an offset but would now consider the Nationwide tracker which is +0.29% for life. It will depend upon your level of savings as to whether this would work out better
