that is the major database that covers 90% of all IFAs. You can do a search by postcode. Avoid the responses which come up with national addresses or non-local rate telephone numbers. They tend to be national/regional salesforces rather than an "independent" independent.

Its best not to use the qualification filter on the website as, to be honest, its a disaster. You can eliminate perfectly qualified advisors just because you pick the wrong qualification. For example, there are three equal standard qualifications but if you pick one, you will eliminate the holders of the other two, even though they are just as capable, if not more.
