Transfer of Equity

Hi All,

I am needing some advice, not sure if I've put this in the right place, so feel free to move it if necessary.

Basically, me and my partner have split up (not married) I am leaving on Wednesday and his brother is taking on my part of the mortgage. Have spoken to mortgage company to do a Transfer of Equity, which they are meant to be getting to us today.

Does anyone know what I will have to do? Do I need solicitors? Is it just me using them to witness me signing the document? or something more?

Could do with as much information on this asap.

Thanks
