Dog Guard for a Ford Focus

Hi
Does anyone have an idea where I would get a secure and robust Dog Guard for a Ford Focus please?
I've already tried in Halfords/Argos etc but the types they stock (extendable legs top and bottom) can be easily pushed down by the dog and I'm trying to secure a 40kg German Shepherd!
Cheers

I got my bespoke tailgate guard from www.mmgguards.co.uk and can certainly recommend their products. It does exactly what is is designed to and was easy to fit...well, if my DIY inept OH was able to fit it, it must have been easy!0

The only ones our dogs don't dismantle are the manufacturers own. Warning for a Ford - we have a Mondeo and it took the Ford dealer over 5 hours to fit our guard - they had to dismantle the roof liner etc - luckily they had agreed to do it as part of us buying the car so we didn't have to pay labour - I understand the newer Fords are easier!!!“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”

I would neve recommend these guards. In the event of an accident, one of those guards will not stop a dog being flung forward as the guard will dislodge on impact. Anyone sitting forward of the guard will likely be hit by the dog and very seriously injured or killed.0 -
Thanks for the replies folks.

Estate or hatch?
I've seen the genuine ford one for an estate and it's a nice piece of work, very robust. It bolts in with thumb wheels. Probably costs a lot I guess.0 -
Lorian it's a Hatch.0
