Cancelling a Dell order.

I ordered a pc from Dell on Monday evening and have had a phone call informing me of delivery on Saturday. I've had second thoughts about the purchase and now want to cancel the order but can find nothing on the Dell site explaining how to do this.
Can I just tell the courier that I no longer want the goods or is there some specific procedure I've got to follow? Thanks.

Did you purchase through the Home section or business?
Under the home section you have the 7 days cooling off period in which to return it but I think the cost of return will fall to you.
If you ordered through the business section then you cannot back out.
I am not sure what will happen if you are out when they try to deliver. As they arrange a delivery day in advance and at your convenience, I don't think you can avoid it by "missing" the delivery.
Edit: This is what the t&Cs say for Home/Home Office section
Consumer Rights
If you are a Consumer you may cancel your purchase at any time within 7 working days of receipt without cause and receive a refund of the Price paid. To do this you must inform Dell in writing and return the products immediately, in the same condition you received them and at your own cost and risk. Any statutory Consumer rights are unaffected by this Agreement. This does not apply to any business customer or user.0 -
i pestered dell and unfortunately ended up speaking to the same CS rep 3x (my Luck), make sure you tell a sob story (genuine in my case) like cannot afford after financial difficulty struck you you after the order etc. and you were confused as it was a deal on this or similar website, and u did not realise it was strictly for businesses, and you just entered the business name even though you were ordering for yourself. (also edit your profile online and get rid of the business name and replace with Your name - may help if order is not despatched, or help prove that you made a mistake initially)
ask for it to be escalated if not done automatically, under no circumstances mention you just don't want it or you want the cheaper laptop/pc/peripheral same spec.
hopefully i should be cancelled within the next hour so.save me money not time0 -
