Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place. I have recently got some Accor luncheon vouchers. Can you tell me if anyone has had any problems with them being accepted? Is there a maximum amount a retailer will accept in one transaction as i have a few demoninations? I was intending using them in either Starbucks or Tesco i think. Also, do you have to buy "lunch" with them?

You can spend them in supermarkets on groceries, not just lunch items. I normally just hand mine in when I do grocery shopping and the money comes off the bill. I'm not sure if there is a maximum but I saved some up last year and got about half a dozen books taken off a Christmas food shop. Here I go again on my own....0

ive not been able to use mine in my local tesco, morrisons used to take them but now dont, the only places ive been able to use them is kfc and mcdonalds, you would be wise to ask before you try to use them0 -

I had mine declined in Maccy D's. Was told by the manager that this particular branch of McDonalds was a franchise and the vouchers can only be taken at their company owned restaurants. I found it odd as regular promotions and other vouchers (ie car park/newspaper coupons) are accepted in both franchise and company owned restaurants. Not sure if I was palmed off or if this is simply the case.0 -
I use mine towards my shopping at Tescos and have never had any problems. They are difficult to swipe when using the self serve checkouts so I do tend to prefer handing them over to a SA. I tend to use a book at a time though and have never saved up a few books to use in one go.0

Was told the same in our local Maccy D's. We now use them in our local weatherspoons as it clearly says on their menu they accept them0 -
I've never experienced any problems spending these vouchers at Tesco or Morrisons. You could however decide to change your payment to go into a Paypal account if this is better for you.
Good luck0 -

My Tesco refused to take them but Sainsburys were happy to accept £12 worth in one go after SA had checked with 2 supervisors. Caused a bit of a queue though as she had to tear each one out, scan it and write on it!0
