How did you pay and how much have you paid?

If it was over £100 and by credit card contact your card issuer.

    Contact Trading Standards

Having said that it's only two weeks...

The phone COULD be busy because someone else is trying to call them BTW!

i used a visa debit card and it was under £50. i know it's only two weeks but surely they should answer someting.

i have emailed over 50 times and have phoned 100+ times but just get the feeling i'm being avoided. it's not much money but i am really broke right now and this was meant to be my gift to myself for getting all my exams.

    thanks again

    will.

    Hi

you can contact worldpay - they are usually helpful

you should also call your bank whose card you paid with

and, as a last resort, send a recorded delivery letter to the PO box address you have

You are covered under visa debt scheme for transaction up to 120 days

Contact your bank. Twice I have paid for items on my Visa debit card and than the company has "disappeared", once £250 and once £40. Both times Barclays refunded the full amount to me even though I paid on debit and not credit card.
  • thank you everyone for the helpful info. i'll pop down the bank tomorrow and sort it out. hope it works!

    will.

I didn't spot anything above stating whether or not you have formally cancelled the order with the company and requested a refund from them.

Have you actually done this first?
Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you can request cancellation & refund for an order at any time. This must be by a 'durable medium' such as letter, email, or fax (not by phone). The refund must then be given within 30 days.

I just wanted to be clear that you have actually asked for a refund in your emails.

I'm not sure what would happen, for example, if they issued a refund, and then the bank processed the chargeback.
