In a joint endowment policy, I would like to know if you can remove one of the policyholders and replace it by adding a new policyholder during the endowment policy?

When my ex and I separated, 15 years ago, I bought his part of the endowment policy. The company (L&G) issued a substitution policy in my sole name.
We had only held it for a year and I was advised it was worthwhile to do this  Now that it has a predicted £15K shortfall, I'm rather wishing I hadn't bothered, but hey ho.Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0 -
Yes ownership can be (re)assigned - otherwise there would be no way you could sell the policies.Trying to keep it simple...0

policyholder ( the person or persons who receive the money on death or maturity) can be changed ... or did you mean the life assured changed from one life to the other ?Any posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0
