Does anyone know of any good deals around at the moment for fridge freezers?
Many thanks.

Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time

We bought this one recently:

We didn't buy it from any of these companies, but it was about £420. It was almost £600 from Argos at the time.
It has a big curvy door that can fit two rows of bottles in, and pizza storage in the freezer. And it's over 2m tall. Best thing is, it's only 60cm wide.
It's not the cheapest by any means, but it is absolutely vast. And it looks really sexy!0 -
I would certainly not recommend Iceland. AFter a couple of months of mine not working properly I had to have three lots of repairs before they offered me a new one. This took me right up to the warranty date a year later. Their policy stinks. They gave me my money back eventually but that took about a month through head office and came as a cheque. No compo or proper apology for not having a fridge freezer for a year never mind could have poisoned us all.0

Do NOT purchase from Laskys, i ordered a fridge freezer from them earlier this year on a Monday, booked delivery slot and paid online. Only to receive an phone call THREE days later (the day before the delivery was due) to tell me the item was not in stock and that they would be refunding my card. Very very unimpressed.
If this was a one off, fair enough (though am not impressed that they cannot ensure their website integrates with their stock control system), but it wasn't, it happened to my friend a week later too.0 -
Hello :hello:
I think John Lewis will price match, they also deliver free.
I've had a few things from John Lewis, always very good service..
My chest freezer is abit broken now though - the bit where it lifts up has a crack and it's not easy to open and shut so we are looking also at investing in a new one - and maybe a bigger fridge whilst we're at it...This is a system account and does not represent a real person. It's always worth checking on eBay. I recently bought a one year old tall upright freezer very cheaply that someone was selling because they were moving and their new house had a built in. Frost free, A rated etc.0

Hello - I got one from Tesco (in their sale) its a Beko (silver) about 6' tall and its BRILL!! (sorry wrong to be so enthusiastic about appliance - but it is)...loads of room for everything. It cost about £250 (and we got clubcard points) the delivery man was huffy (its too big to go through the door blah blah - it wasn't)! I looked up Beko on the review site where people recommend or otherwise things they bought & they came up very well.
I looked at J.Lewis too, & compared mine to a Bosch; but the Bosch was over £500 and the Beko has more space. (Didn't bother with the water cooler thing as I thought waste of money)
Best wishes0
