well I made a whole 10p on surveys today and 25p on scratchcard:rolleyes:... need to take some money out of bank today so that will have to come off the entertainment budget - it's only a fiver but so annoying when you have it all boxed off for the week and only £1 till friday! still the money is there so it could be worse...mmm... I think I may be turning into a control freak:o!

Haven't chucked out/recycled five things today yet so must get moving with that (general recycling doesn't count), I SHALL have a lovely empty flat to show to buyers! actually one of the problems with this place is the generous cupboard space, I had no idea there was so much I needed rid off as it doesn't seem cramped:o.

I've been filling a piggy bank (courtesy of pigsback of course) with miscellaneous smash and it's starting to look quite full. I'm aiming to stick a fiver a time into my savings - not much but every little helps:D!

We have what is fondly known as "The Nightmare Cupboard" the name says it all I think:rotfl:

You are right on the every little helps, we set up a small Direct Debit for the boys which comes straight out of my account every month.

12 years on and I got a nice surprise when I saw how much was in there now for them. It doesnt fully mature until they become 18 so DS1 will get a nice surprise in 2 years and DS2 in 4 years.

I got a £1 on my scratchcard this morning.........nearly choked on my tea after the yellow fish 10ps every flippin day.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

:j:j:j I was reading something today about how many Scottish students are in debt so would like to do something similar just in case DS decides to go to uni.

My five things out are gone - halloween lights that last worked around 2005, bunch of corks, times table thing to recycling and two things to my car boot pile (unused girly wine stoppers and unused xmas cookie cutters).

Just realised today was a NSD and I am still managing to turn the water heater off in the evening (it comes on twice a day but only really need morning).

    baby steps, baby steps...

CDs etc all packaged up and raring to go!

Got an email from a perfume place earlier with their bargains and was confused by "Colleen" stuff - "mmm, Colleen Nolan has her own perfume now" I thought (thinking it was a bit odd but whatever) but yes obviously it's Colleen Rooney:rolleyes:! I am such an old crumbly:o:rotfl:!

Let's face it, being a singer in a group requires far more talent than being a member of the footballer's WAG set.

That's probably where the confusion arose...
