  • Glad something sold for him. It will learn him the value of money. My DS is now 20 and last year he wanted me to sell, sort it out and give him the dosh. errr! i gave him what was left after posting etc, but when they are little i wouldn't go as far.

    another day another beach...

That must be so tough... ;)

Glad you're having a lovely time. Watching ferries, skimming stones and searching for seals sounds fabulous. And definitely strenuous enough to justify icecream.

Sounds like you are both having a lovely summer, who needs expensive holidays to have fun....

We have just come back from a holiday in Cornwall with the boys, my DS2 favourite activity????? Playing swingball outside of the caravan:rotfl:
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

ahhh but he's saving for a specific purpose Bob and he's very nearly there! whilst all his friends have been given PS3's he's been saving hard to buy one so will give him all minus posting for his efforts. Plus he's been exceptionally helpful in the garden and around the house whilst never asking for payment :A so I think he deserves it.

It is lovely when the sun shines Hollyberry, and I resisted the icecream today although he had one - puff candy today! sooo need to get my butt down the gym but we did walk about six miles all in today so not bad:D.

absolutely! hope the weather was ok for you Lou, swingball outside caravan eh - I thought they'd be joining the drunken teenagers down the beach:D! it's amazing how they do like daft things like that as long as they are in a different setting.

P.S. the seal spotting isn't usually too difficult as they are very lazy so hang around the harbour waiting for the fishing boats to come back!

Thanks Shaun, I'm not on holiday though - even though I wish I was - it was just the weekend:D.
Bank account on line not balancing today... hopefully they'll catch up tomorrow but payment doesn't seem to have arrived from ex although there's more money on the balance than possible if it hasn't - bloomin banks! they are messing up my lovely spreadsheet by doing this:o. (There is no chance he hasn't paid as it's a SO so no real worry but I wish they'd hurry it up.)
