matalan fobbing me off?

in matalan today when i tried to use my student discount card she said she wouldn't accept it as like newlook and peacocks they only accept the one which you pay £25 for :eek: she said the name of this card and i have never even heard of it before.... ive used my college student card in both newlook and peacocks with no issues at all and im pretty sure ive used it in matalan previously too

did i just get a jobsworth or is that actually true before i spout off in an email to them - i was going to email already about the disgusting service (or lack of) from their staff after being ignored in a line at customer service with 4 other people for 15 minutes
