Decent hair dressers in Dumfries ?

I am desperate for a hair cut before graduation, 9 days away! I am currently working full time and can't make it up to Glasgow for an appointment, does anybody know any good salons in Dumfries, or Thornhill that are good, and would be likely to have any walk in appointments?

its not dumfries and isnt really a hairdressers but i remember a few years ago when i was in lockerbie i would occasionally stop of at the barbers in lockerbie,it was great the guy had cukoo clocks all over the walls no space for anything else and they were all going off at different times,absoloutly nuts but very entertaining! and possibly not the best place for a princess to get her hair cut!

Slate in Bank Street in Dumfries is great, I go there, and everyones hair when I'm there looks good (01387 265907)
My Aunt goes to one in Thornhill too and hers is always nice but dunno what one its called.
Walk in appointments in slate is very unlikely phone them up, the receptionist is lovely

Awww what about headmasters in Dumfries - know a few people who go there and Laings best one is def slate though

Wife went to the one in Barbours last week and it is very pricey.
