  • Hi Lucy. I have seen some of the IDL's (Sheets which M&S action new prices on) for Homeware, T35 Bedding and T47 Soft Furnishings were the ones I had a quick flick through and they are dated for the 24th, I assume more departments are involved as they were re-laying candles and kitchens today. Deffo worth popping in Friday I would say, there seem's to be some good buys with plenty at 1/2 price or less

The store I work at is open 24 hours. I too wondered when exactly the tills would update, but no-one seemed to know. Some of my colleagues are in at 6am, supposedly to start ticketing, so I think this could be an indication. If most stores are opening 8am or slightly earlier the tills would have to be done by then.

Hi, I am confuse... on the website it says "Sale starts exclusively online on Christmas Day, come back for big savings on hundreds of items". Can it be that in the shops as well on Xmas Day?
Past years, Sale started same time at M&S Stores and online - fair rule.
Ready for tomorrow, don't want to make long trip if there's no sale.
Have you got something to share - Do it.
When you don't know - Ask.
  • Just back from my 24 hour M&S and couldn't see much evidence of sale items other than some summer picnic type items that must have been at the back of stock rooms somewhere! I did see some childrens clothes rails that were marked as sale goods.

I have to say that the shelf stacking staff in M&S are the cheeriest I have ever come across. Without exception they all said good morning as you passed them, as did the sales assistants in the Food Hall.

Signs everywhere to say they were having difficulty getting the food items into the store due to the bad accident that closed the main road North yesterday. However the ordered food pick up seemed to be pretty well stocked so hopefully everyone will get what they ordered.
