Rowland Hill fund

Hi, I work for Royal Mail and i've just found out there is a fund for workers that are in hardship, I've rung them to see if they could help on a deposit for a house, they said they might be able to and it would consist of a 0% interest loan or a one-off grant that I wouldn't have to pay back.
I know the loan is out of the question because my BR would swallow it up, but what about the grant?
Anybody had dealings like this, your help and advice will be much appreciated
Cheers Rich

  • It's good to see that they do help people in our situation, I was worried about the stigma with 'BR' if you know what i mean?

Has anyone else delt with this group or anything similar? Your replies would very welcome.
