Clown making cheap political capital by "selling" the Crock, but muggins the tax-payer is left holding £££ billions of the toxic waste while Tesco walzes off with anything half-decent.
All so the socialists can hang onto a couple of northern constituencies.

I can see a logic in selling to a non-bank as it will reduce concentration in the sector.

Thay will take out all the junk loans and keep them on the Govs books just the same as thay did with brdford and bingly.
Thay will sell the savings accounts and maybe the AAA loan book.
